Copper chased and repousse oak leaf pendant with prehnite
I've been creating since I can remember, I started with jewellery, something that I still enjoy doing today.
Copper riveted flower earrings
Sterling silver labroradite ring made entirely by me.
I enjoy anything creative and like to try different mediums. When I got sheep I became interested in fibre crafts so I learned to spin, knit, crochet and felt with the wool

I discovered painting some 25 years ago when I picked up a Jo Sonja book about folk art in Hobbycraft. I started out painting with acrylics that way, using patterns, but eventually I wanted to do my own designs so I learned to draw via a number of books, videos and the occasional workshop.

I'm lucky enough to live in a cottage surrounded by farmland and countryside. The wildlife I encounter inspires much of my creativity. I always feel I enjoy things more when I draw them because I learn so much about the subject matter.

I'm also lucky enough to have sheep, goats, chickens, ducks, a horse and guinea fowl and their characters also provide plenty of inspiration.
