The touch of spring
I feel my feet upon the earth,
Sun warms my skin,
The land gives birth.
For where I touch the flowers grow,
New leaves spring forth,
The fields aglow.
You hear me when the skylark sings,
You feel my touch,
The life I bring.
I bring with me growth renewed,
The butterflies,
The morning dew.
I am the maiden fair and sweet,
This greening earth,
Is my heartbeat.
