Gifts for Birders - Waxwing and Firecrest original miniature art

 

I've recently listed a couple of new, original, miniature paintings in my Etsy Shop My aim with painting items like these is to enable people who would appreciate them to buy original art at an affordable price. They're also small pieces that don't require a frame, and will fit in any home. 

The first one is a firecrest bird. I also did a goldcrest but that sold before I got a chance to list it. I love these little birds, I always think firecrests look like punky little things when they have their crest fully on display. I love it when they come out with some character, and I think this one certainly has.

The waxwing has come out with a rather knowing look! These are amazing birds, they have such a wonderful colouration to them. I'm sad I don't get to see them here.

Each painting is supplied with a display stand so they will be ready to enjoy when they arrive at their new homes. Both these pieces made me smile and hopefully they will bring others a smile too.
